Kayaking, Finger Lakes
Just 5 minutes from Our Alaskan Dream, This beautiful lake, gives you miles of kayaking, and fishing options.
Hiking Reflection Lake,
his one-mile trail around Reflections Lake offers easy walking year-round. Come with snowshoes, skis, or ice skates during the winter months, or identify wildflowers and forest birds in summer. Mostly wooded, the trail does open up to views of the surrounding mountains at one end of the lake, where the large forest gives way to smaller trees and grasses. Dawn and dusk here can be stunning, with sunset colors playing across the water and on the peaks. If you have a canoe or kayak, you can carry it down to the lake for a fun, sheltered paddle
Sights along the Glenn Highway
One of the many sights, to catch driving the Glenn Highway, grab your fishing pole, or borrow one of ours, what better way to spend an afternoon
Whitter, Just down the Seward Highway
Whittier has a varied and rich cultural history in addition to being breathtakingly beautiful. The Chugach Natives of Prince William Sound first used the Whittier area as part of their portage route for accessing the Turnagain Arm
Valdez, Head down the Glenn Highway, and find a treasure on the shore.
Located near the head of a deep fjord in Prince William Sound, Valdez is a mix of tidewater glaciers, rainforests, and majestic mountains, wildlife on both land and sea and so much more. Valdez offers unparalleled natural scenery that is matched only by the abundant activities offered throughout the year.
Moose & Wildlife, just part of your visit.
Much of the wonder that is Alaska is the wildlife. We are no strangers to moose here. Our property is often frequented by these gentle creatures. Though they are wild animals, we please ask all guest to use their best judgment and leave a large distance between you and wild animals while visiting Alaska.
